Today, Queens of the Stone Age have continued the slow-motion rollout of their latest album, dropping a teaser video on their website. Yesterday the band revamped their site, displaying a television with varying levels of feedback and plenty of cryptic imagery. The video shows lead singer and guitarist Josh Homme in various locations, including the studio, with what seem to be pitch-shifted vocals (or it could just be the gravelly vocals of oft-collaborator Iggy Pop) repeatedly and arrhythmical chanting “Gold” over and over, with various interjections of “mine!” Also seen is some text that reads “Your heart is like a fortress / Keep your feelings locked away / Is it easier / Does it make you feel safe?” A few more shots of Homme and instruments are shown, and then the video fades to black just after the one minute mark.

The album, which Pitchfork initially reported the album will be called TK – though they have since changed their headline to remove that reference. The LP, which will be the band’s first since 2013’s Like Clockwork was finished being mixed back in April. Meanwhile,
