Arcade Fire @ Oracle Arena 10/17

Canadian rock band Arcade Fire are heading into Oakland this fall. Oracle Arena will be hosting the Montreal natives on October 17th. This will be one of the stops on their Infinite Content 2017 tour. They will be opened by performer Angel Olson.

The Montreal natives began as Arcade Fire back in 2001. They came into mainstream success with their debut album back in 2004. Recently, the band announced that they will be releasing their fifth studio album Everything Now on July 28th. That album has already released the title single Everything Now, which also has over three million hits on YouTube. The band’s most recent release was 2015’s Reflektor. Hits from that album include the songs Afterlife, Here Comes The Night Time, We Exist, and the title song Reflektor. Other than that the band has released three other studio albums, three EPs, and countless singles. Arcade Fire’s most popular songs are Wake Up, Rebellion, Neighborhood #3, Ready to Start, Keep the Car Running, The Suburbs, We Used to Wait, and Abraham’s Daughter. One thing in particular that makes this band stand out is the chemistry they have. Composed of a married couple, brothers, and frequent and familiar collaborators, Arcade Fire has that special something that makes all the moving pieces within their band just work. The bevy of instruments used to compose the music is fantastic and extraordinary.

Fans of The Flaming Lips, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and The Shins will be into this show. Arcade Fire’s performance will be fantastic and killer. Grab a ticket and get ready for a good time!
