Indie Supergroup LIV Release New Song “Heaven”

You may often hear news of supergroups being formed by a variety of classic rockers, but it’s not an everyday occurrence that a collection of your favorite indie artists join forces. But LIV, it’s not a fantasy anymore.

The Swedish-American pop supergroup includes Lykke Li alongside Andrew Wyatt and Pontus Winnberg of Miike Snow and Björn Yttling of Peter Bjorn and John.

The outfit first entered the scene with “Wings of Love” back in last October, and soon followed it up with “Dream Awake” in November. The group has gone radio silent since the track’s release, having dropped just enough to keep listeners interested.

But finally, the band has returned with the new track “Heaven.” The song fronts the soothing texture of strumming guitars and gorgeous synths, topped off with beautiful, echoing vocals from Lykke Li and co.

The song is accompanied by a VHS/karaoke style lyric video, adding to the nostalgic atmosphere of the track.
