Oh Wonder @ Fox Theatre 10/19

Indie pop band Oh Wonder is stopping into the Bay this fall. The duo will be playing the Fox Theatre in Oakland on October 19th. This DIY band is making waves as they enter the US music market.

The alternative pop band Oh Wonder is composed of Josephine Gucht and Anthony West and is based out of London. These brits are selling out arenas throughout Europe, including their home base of London. The band is known for their interesting and Do-It-Yourself style is what is drawing crowds. Recently, the band announced that they will be releasing their second album Ultralife this July. Previous to that they released their debut and self-titled album Oh Wonder back in 2015. Big songs that this band has released include Lose It, Technicolor Beat, All We Do, Without You, and Drive. From their upcoming album the duo has released the singles Ultralife, the title song, Lifetimes, Heavy, and My Friends. The duo combine their voices to make a unique harmony of vocals. The mixture of keyboard, melodies, drum machine tunes, and slow grooving sound makes for a fun alternative vibe. This duo, separately were successful, but together? Dang, they makes some sweet music. The band has reached success throughout Europe and North America, even hitting the Billboard Top 20 here in the States.
