Joey Badass @ Bill Graham Civic Auditorium 7/15

Rapper Joey Badass is coming to play in the City this summer. The New York based rapper will be hitting up the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on July 15th. He will be opening for Logic’s Everybody’s Tour. Other openers for that show include Big Lenbo.

Joey Badass or Joey Bada$$ came up into the scene in 2010 and broke into the scene officially in 2012. His most recent work All-Amerikkkan Badass was released this year in April. It is known for the songs Devastated, Land of the Free, Rockabye Baby, and Temptation. The rapper has put out one other studio album, his debut B4.DA.$$ and two other mixtapes. His other popular songs are Waves, Christ Conscious, Paper Trail$, Teach Me, On & On, No. 99, and Big Dusty. He has been featured on other successful songs such as A$AP Rocky’s 1Train and Statik Skelatah’s song Bird’s Eye View. Joey Badass is a founding member of the Brooklyn hip-hop collective Pro Era alongside fellow rappers CJ Fly, Kirk Knight, and Nyck Caution. Badass’s music ranges from old school hip-hop to political awareness, to just good music. The young rapper is making waves with his work and showing his audience what is important to him through his music.

Fans of A$AP Ferg, Ab-Soul, or Vince Staples you’re gonna be into this up and comer rapper. Joey Badass is a part of the new wave of hip-hop, the politically aware, the era of being woke.
