Agent Orange @ Cornerstone 8/26

Punk rock band Agent Orange is making its way into the Bay this summer. The punk band will be hitting up Berkeley and playing at the Cornerstone on August 26th.

Agent Orange can be classified as one of the original and classic punk bands from SoCal, originating from Orange County. The trio of punk rockers consists of vocalists Mike Palm, bassist Perry Giordano, and drummer Dave Klein. Palm, the only original member, established the band back in 1979. The band’s most recent work came back in 1996… 21 years ago with the studio album Virtually Indestructible. That album is known for the songs This Is All I Need, Unsafe At Any Speed, Wouldn’t Last A Day, and Tiki Ti. Other than that the band has released two previous studio albums, three EPs, five singles, and four compilation albums. One thing that is amazing about this band is that thier original album? Yeah, the one released back in 1980? The one that was self-released? Yeah that one, is still one of the band’s number one selling record. Agent Orange is known for the songs Bloodstains, A Cry For Help In A World Gone Mad, Everything Turns Grey, Too Young To Die, and Fire In The Rain. Agent Orange, though not a mainstream punk band, is one of the quintessential bands to have within your punk music repertoire. This band embodies everything the 80s punk generation did. They are punk rockers who are some of the first to combine the genre with surf rock, their sound is the quintessential California music.

Fans of NOFX, Social Distortion, and The Adolescents will be down for this show. Heck, if you’re even remotely a California punk fan this will be a show of a lifetime, I guarantee. So folks, grab a ticket and hit up the Cornerstone ‘cause it’s gonna be a riot.
