Electronic dance producer and DJ known as Marhsmello is set to perform at The MID as part of the Official Spring Awakening After Party on June 9th. The bass-heavy dance music that is signature Marshmello are the perfect boost to keep the party going throughout the weekend.
The highly acclaimed producer is inspired by fellow DJ deadmau5 and he even wears a helmet resembling a marshmallow with a face during his performances. This has lead to much speculation about his true identity and keeps fans guessing. Some speculate it could be Martin Garrix, Tiesto or even a collection of different DJs.
Marshmello released his debut album “Joytime” in 2016 and has already released three singles this year: “Chasing Colors”, “Twinbow” and “Moving On”. He has collaborated with big name artists and remixed popular songs by Zedd. His song “Alone” hit the Billboard Hot 100 chart early this year. The producer/DJ is currently on the Ritual Tour which has allowed him to perform throughout the US, China and South Korea. The tour makes a stop in Chicago at The Mid as part of the Official Spring Awakening After Party.
