Cisco Adler, G. Love and Donavon Frankenreiter Form Jamtown and Release New Song “Island Time”

After performing a few shows in late April, Jamtown have released their first official single! The debut video was shared via Relix. The project brings together Cisco Adler, Donavon Frankenreiter and G. Love, who entered the studio together this past December.

The three musicians have known each other for many years, with Frankenreiter and G. Love first sharing a bill at 2003 Byron Bay Blues Festival. Frankenreiter says of the project:

“We’ve known each other for many years, but the time was never right to work together. We got in there and wrote 10 songs in 10 days. None of us knew that was going to happen. If we went in with a preconceived notion of starting a group, it might not have. I thought it would be a Record Store Day release or something. It just kept getting better and better.”

“Jamtown has been a truly serendipitous musical journey,” G Love says. “The music has come through us in such a pure way, songs writing themselves as the best songs tend to do. ‘Fool in Love’ is a feel good smash for summer love.” Watch video for the single below.

The group will release their debut EP on June 23 via Adler’s Bananabeat Records and has announced dates over the next three months, with their upcoming tour itinerary below the video.
