Khalid – not to be confused with DJ Khaled – is the voice behind the R&B hit “Location”. The single has gone platinum and reached number 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. If you listen to Spotify, then you’re bound to hear one of his songs of the summer come on.
The Texas native just graduated from high school in last year and he’s more than on his way to making a name for himself in the music industry. His 21-city tour sold out each night of his Location Tour, was named one of Apple’s New Artist of the Week in February. He has teamed up with Logic and Alessia Cara for the song “1-800-273-8255” and appears on Calvin Harris’ “Rollin” with Future.
