Dan Auerbach Revisits the Wild Days of Youth in 70s-Themed Video for “Waiting On A Song”

Dan Auerbach took some time to look back and be nostalgic on his wild youth-filled days with the ’70s themed video “Waiting On a Song,” according to Rolling Stone.  Bryan Schlam was at the helm of this hilarious video of boys living out the last days of summer, full of booze and weed before stepping into adulthood.

Throughout the video there was drinking at an empty race track, shooting beer cans, crafting an apple pipe and hitting up the local diner. Auerbach discusses how this not only evokes the feelings of the song but it also pays homage to the songwriters of Nashville. The track also features other Nashville songwriters such as Michael Heeney and Luke Dick, as well as David Ferguson.

The record was recorded last year at his studio in Nashville with some other great names like drummer Gene Chrisman, bassist Dave Roe and pianist Bobby Wood.

This will for sure bring many of you back to the good old days. Be sure to check out the song down below and the tracks in the line-up as well.
