Death Grips Release 22 Minute “Steroids (Crouching Tiger Hidden Gabber Megamix),” Announce Work on New Album

Looking for a new track to juice you up for an intense work out or new headbanging material? Experimental hip-hop group Death Grips just released a twenty-two minute track called “Steroids” that’ll get your blood flowing, filled with a mix of samples that are so in-your-face and vocals you wouldn’t believe. The band took to their official Twitter account to share the brand new song, after revealing info that they’re currently working on their upcoming album. Scroll below to listen to the entire track.

The new and currently nameless LP will be their sixth studio album, following their last release entitled “Bottomless Pit,” which dropped around this time last year. Since then, Death grips has collaborated with Les Claypool, the lead vocalist and bassist from Primus, for their song “More Than The Fairy” together which you can listen to here. Later this year in June, Death Grips is scheduled to perform at the NOS Primavera Sound Festival in Portugal and Barcelona alongside fellow headlining acts Bon Iver and Aphex Twin. The festival will be one of many stops along their upcoming European tour. Others include Field Day Festival, Pukkelpop, Lowlands Festival, and Tyler the Creator’s Camp Flog Gnaw in September. For more information about the tour, head to their official website here.
