Ernest Greene, aka Washed Out, have been relatively quiet the past few months. But things have been slowly heating up. After their October appearance at Desert Daze, the only other bit of action came earlier this week when the band posted a mysterious gif on Twitter which linked back to their homepage. The simple visuals, which only said “Take a hit and get lost,” let users sign up for the band’s newsletter. Other than that, nothing.
Well know we finally know what the tease was for. The band has just announced a tour throughout the United States. Washed Out will start out in Norfolk, VA on July 8, and wind their way around the southeast on the 8-show tour.
While it isn’t new music, (their last release was 2013’s Paracosm, hopefully this will get the creative juices flowing and get them back in the studio. Check out the tour dates below.
