Premium cable channel Starz has emerged as strong completion for other networks. Shows like Power and American Gods are two of the biggest reasons for the growth of the channel. Garbage’s Shirley Manson alongside longtime composer Brian Reitzell have released a new song titled “Queen Of The Bored” according to ROLLINGSTONE. The soundtrack is filled with Reitzell’s score and contributions from Shirley Manson. The soundtrack is available June 16th via Milan Records.
Fans can expect to see Garbage performing at the KABOO Festival with Jane’s Addiction, and Muse in front of thousands of fans. They can also be seen performing at the KCRW World Festival at the Hollywood Bowl with Blondie and Spoon.
Born in Scotland, Manson is the lead singer of Garage and has been touring between Scotland and the United States. As a group, they have sold 12 million records worldwide, an accomplishment that many groups only dream about. Manson has been able to cross over in to other parts of the entertainment business. She had her first professional acting role in the final season of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles as a series regular playing a liquid metal T-1001 Terminator.
