Unreleased Prince Tracks “Our Destiny/Roadhouse Garden” Pulled from the Vault

In recent years, we have lost a number of artists from David Bowie, Chuck Berry, and the legendary Prince. Born in Minnesota, Prince had a career that many artists can only dream of when it comes to record sales, tours, awards; Prince lived one hell of a life. Prince stood the test of time in an era where he was in constant competition with the likes of Michael Jackson and Madonna just to name a few.

“Our Destiny/Roadhouse Garden” are two songs that Prince usually would perform live but have now been brought to us digitally as a surprise. This release could possibly have something to do with Universal attempting to end their deal with Prince’s estate due to the estate finalizing a deal with them while still being under Warner. Lisa Coleman is featured on “Our Destiny” along with Coleman again featured on “Roadhouse Garden”  with Dr. Fink.

He was one of the few remaining artists who did not allow their music to be made available digitally. Recently, his music was just made available on all streaming platforms, much to the surprise of fans of the purple rain artist. Now according to NOISEY, unreleased tracks from massive vault of Prince music have been pulled.

Listen to the songs below and see for yourself whether or not these tracks should have stayed in the vault because Prince is not here to perfect them.

Chris Baker: My name is Chris Baker and I am currently enrolled in college as a Communications major with a minor in Marketing and a focus in Digital Media. While I was in High School I started to notice and feel that everything is going digital, specifically news.
