Metz Release Teaser Video Hinting at Fall 2017 Release

Scuzzy Canadian noise punks Metz have released a new teaser video via Twitter today. The short clip, which runs for 30 seconds, featured their trademark pounding rhythms along with some harmonized “ahhhs,” gradually increasing their pitch before cutting out with a beep and a screen that simply reads “Fall 2017” and shows the Metz logo and Sub Pop logo. Could the band be teasing their third LP for Sub Pop, which would follow their 2012 self-titled debut and 2015’s appropriately titled II? Check out the video below and see for yourself.

It has been relatively quite couple of months from the trio of guitarist and vocalist Alex Edkins, bassist Chris Slorach and drummer Hayden Menzies. They are currently on a short tour, playing a few northern cities as well as music festivals like the just-announced Hopscotch Music Festival in Raleigh, NC and Upstream Festival + Summit in Seattle, WA.
