Against Me! Announces Fall 2017 Tour Dates With Bleached And Dirty Nil

The punk-rock quartet Against Me!, released their seventh LP, Shape Shift With Me, back in in September. In a statement, singer Laura Jane Grace said she wrote the album with the goal of addressing “relationships from a trans perspective.” Against Me! recently wrapped a month of dates supporting Green Day and they’re currently on tour in Australia. Now, Against Me! have announced a headlining North American tour during September and October. The 39-date trek launches the 2nd of September in Winnipeg, Manitoba and concludes the 28th of October with an appearance at Gainesville, Florida festival the Fest.

Four years ago, Grace announced she would begin living as a woman and last year and released a memoir, Tranny: Confessions of Punk Rock’s Most Infamous Anarchist Sellout, in which she chronicled her gender dysphoria, music career, falling in love and making the decision to transition.

During the tour, L.A. punk act Bleached and Canadian alt-rock group the Dirty Nil will be the open act for all of the dates with the exception of the final Fest date in Florida.
