The night before the new album Humanz was released they made an appearance on the Stephen Colbert Show and performed “Let Me Out” featuring Pusha T and a holographic Mavis Staples. To top this off they made another T.V. appearance on the Graham Nortan Show which was just as fantastic.
During the show, Damon Albarn joined up with Noel Gallagher and Savages’ Jehnny Beth for “We Got the Power”. Albarn also had the chance to show off the bell that he got from the same foundry as the Liberty Bell in Philadelphia. They had the performance and finished off with a short interview with Graham Norton which will be down below.
This has been a whirlwind of a year for Gorillaz including them returning from their hiatus after 6 years. There are also planning to tour extensively for this album with few festivals already lined up. If that was not enough, there is even a T.V. show in the works.
