Everyone’s favorite early 2000s band, Lifehouse, will be rolling into San Francisco this fall! The band announced they will be playing the Masonic Auditorium on September 10th. Their stop in the city will be the show the band and their co-headliners Switchfoot will be playing for their Looking For Summer Tour. They will be opened by Brynn Elliott.
Lifehouse has been keep their music stuck in our heads ever since the band debuted back in 1999. The trio is best known for their alternative rock hits and acoustic songs. Their most recent release came back in 2015 with the studio album Out of the Wasteland. That album is known for the songs Hurricane, Flight, and You Are Not Alone. Previous to that the band has released six other studio albums ranging from the years 2000-2012. The band broke into mainstream success with their debut single Hanging by a Moment, which to this day is still played on the radio. Other notable songs by this band include You & Me, Broken, Everything, Between The Raindrops, Halfway Gone, and Whatever It Takes. Lifehouse has enjoyed mainstream success ever since their debut and have had 3 top hits that hung on the record charts for a while. Their sound has spiritual vibes and a nice raspy country like quality to it; lyrically this is where I believe they have made their success. Lyrically the band has mastered the art of the love song and the introspective experience.
Fans of Nickleback, Daughtry, and Matchbox Twenty will be happy to know this band is touring and hitting up the bay. Lifehouse’s music will forever live on in the years of the future.
