||V|| Releases Sinister New Song Ambient “Painless” and Announces New Album Invasion for June 2017 Release

||V||, a solo projected created by Josh Graham and has released “Black Galaxy“, who is also known as the former visual artist for Neurosis and A Storm of Light leader, has recently announced the date for the new album Invasion, on June 23 through Consouling Records. According to Brooklyn Vegan, the artists has also released a lead single called “Painless”.

“Painless” is an example of the artist taking a darker style. The song starts out mysterious as one by one the instruments start playing its repetitive pattern. The video while these tunes are playing show a group of people looking and working on one side of the barbed wires while on the other side there are people with guns waiting for the person on the fence to come back down. As the video continues, everything starts disintegrating into pieces. The video can be watched below.

In a press release, according to Metal Nerd, Graham had said “In the timeless words of Lee Ving, ‘Let’s have a war.’ Let’s put the humans out of their misery and have a good old fashioned alien invasion. Goodbye cruel world. C’est la vie orange wig. Arrivederci saints and sinners. Another score to a non-existent movie, ‘Painless’ is track six of nine, and tells the sonic story of where we cease to be human, and are reborn into something magnificent, or terrifying.”
