Yesterday, Eddie Vedder performed at Hot Stone Cool Music which is a benefit in Boston for underprivileged youth, according to Stereogum. This event took place at Paradise Rock Club and featured other legendary artists/celebrtites and atheletes , many of them Boston veterans including To Cleo’s Kay Hanley, Buffalo Tom’s Bill Janovitz, Belly’s Tanya Donelly and Gail Greenwood, Jen Trynin, and Will Dailey, and several Red Sox and Cubs players.
Vedder’s entire set was cover songs and it included some amazing hits like the Who’s “The Kids Are Alright” and “I Can’t Explain,” Talking Heads “Love Building On Fire,” the Rolling Stones’ “Waiting On A Friend,” Squeeze’s “Another Nail In My Heart,” Bruce Springsteen’s “Bobby Jean,” Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb,” and Neil Young’s “Rockin’ In The Free World.”
