Kickstarter Project Underway for Documentary on the Tragically Short-Lived Art Punks Brainiac

Art Punk band Brainiac had all the makings of a great band with huge success on the horizon. Unfortunately this was all cut very short when front man of the group Tim Taylor was killed in a tragic car accident in 1997.  From playing at  Lollapalooza, touring with Beck, and recording with Steve Albini, Kim Deal, and Jim O’Rourke, the bands five year run was well spent.

According to the PRP , there is a kickstarter campaign for a documentary of the band, which will make their fan base grow and let lots of people know about their great success. Interviews will be conducted from Wayne Coyne, Cedric Bixler-Zavala, Fred Armisen, King Buzzo, and many others. Musician and filmmaker Eric Mahony plans to head up this project and their are currently 5 days left on the kickstarter campaign and he needs about $10,000 to reach the goal of $40,000.

Be sure to check out the campaign below and consider supporting an awesome music project!
