HARD Summer Music Festival Announces 2017 Lineup Featuring DJ Snake, Bassnectar and Snoop Dogg

You would be “HARD” put (pun intended) to find a summertime festival that has the ability to consistently pull out a lineup as diverse and stacked as Hard Summer manages to do every year. From the very first HARD on New Year’s Eve in 2007 which featured Justice, 2 Live Crew, Steve Aoki and Peaches there has never been a weak lineup to come from this festival. Whether it’s last year’s “W” flying performance from Ice Cube or the presence of the Godfather of EDM, Giorgio Moroder; Hard summer delivers a solid lineup filled with an eclectic mix of huge top 40 names (The Weeknd, A$AP Mob, Pharrell and Future to name a few) and an underground lineup that even the most snobby of festheads can’t be bothered to diss. And from the lineup that was recently released for Hard Summer 2017, this legacy is safely intact for another year! Given that this will be the festival’s 10-year anniversary fans of the festival have been on edge wondering who could possibly do the historically stacked festival “Justice”.

Headliners for this year’s festival include DJ Snake and Justice (DJ set), Snoop Dogg performing his seminal album Doggystyle live, Dog Blood for their only performance in 2017, and the masters of bass music Bassnectar.

In addition to the headliners, Hard Summer will include incredible electronic performances (Zeds Dead, What So Not, Cashmere Cat) mixed with some hip-hop (Migos, Rae Sremmurd, Ty Dolla $ign). Upping their rap and hip-hop lineup this year with some U.K flare Hard Summer will serve as the stage for JME’s first West Coast play), as well as the first-ever festival appearance by producer Mike Will Made It.

Continuing this year’s tradition of making sure there is a solid lineup of talented women on the festival lineup, this year’s HARD SUMMER features more female talent than any Hard Summer in the past. Performances not to be missed include Charli XCX, producers and DJs Anna Lunoe, Nina Las Vegas, JPhlip, Gina Turner, Heather b2b Collette, and J Worra.

UPDATE (7/10): HARD Summer Music Festival has announced it will now take place in San Bernardino at the Glen Helen Amphitheater & Regional Park, moving from its previous home at the Fontana Motor Speedway. The lineup and schedule will not be affected by the venue change.
