Thruston Moore just announced he has added dates to his tour. The spring dates are an addition to his tour supporting his newest album Rock n Roll Consciousness. The album drops next Friday on the 28th. After releasing information on the tour earlier this year Thruston also released single for the album titled, “Cease Fire.” The new dates include stops in Toronto, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and more.
Thruston best know for his role as guitarist and vocalist for the band Sonic Youth, has been working on solo projects since 1994. The song based alternative albums have been a huge hit and have carried the artist’s acclaim even after his main project Sonic Youth dismantled in 2011. His softer more acoustic based sound is extremely mastered and unique. To hear him on tour check the dates and grab tickets, with the added dates it is more than likely he will be in a town near you.
