Brujeria Announce Fall 2017 Tour Dates with Voodoo Glow Skulls and Piñata Protest

Brujeria, Voodoo Glow Skulls and Piñata Protest fans should be pretty excited because they have announced that they are heading off on tour this fall according to the PRP. They are going to be hitting several places on several dates so fans should be excited to have plenty of opportunities to check them out!

This tour is in support of Brujeria’s 4th album Pocho Aztlan, which was released this past September. This band has had a very strong presence in Los Angeles for over three decades but this is their first album released in nearly 16 years. The title of the album directly translates to  “Wasted Promised Land.” This refers to the fact that Brujo’s people and himself are poncho and they felt that their life was wasted when they came to the U.S. and were treated unfairly.   This new album was the first to feature first to feature Hongo Jr., El Cynico, El Sangron and Cuernito. The band has been made up of lots of different members throughout its history and it is exciting to see new members make an appearance. When they had their fall tour, they announced the title was make America hate again, and it featured a poster with Donald Trump’s head cut through with machete. This band has always been known for pushing buttons and pressing against political norms.

The band was originally formed in Mexico in 1989 and Its members, the guitarist Dino Cazares, Jello Biafra, drummer Pat Hoed, bass guitarist Billy Gould and vocalist Juan Brujo, used pseudonyms as most were in other known bands. In their earlier days, the band was thought to be satanic drug lords as well as metal musicians and who knows if we really got a clear answer on this but we do know that they make awesome music and we are excited to hear it all on this tour.

Be sure to check out the video invite and see them out on tour. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday at 10 AM.
