Tori Amos Announces New Album Native Invader for September 2017 Release and Announces New Summer Tour Dates

The extremely talented Tori Amos has just announced her 15 studio album entitled Native Invader, set to be released later this fall. On Sept. 8 expect Amos to release an album that celebrates themes of nature and examines the infinate persistance of nature. She’ll be beginning her Eurpoean tour two days before her album release date, so concert goers will be lucky to get a first glimpse at the newest album live for the very first times.

“The songs on Native Invader are being pushed by the Muses to find different ways of facing unforeseen challenges and in some cases dangerous conflicts,” said Amos in an interview. “The record looks to Nature and how, through resilience, she heals herself The songs also wrestle with the question: what is our part in the destruction of our land, as well as ourselves, and in our relationships with each other?”

“In life there can be the shock of unexpected fires, floods, earthquakes, or any cataclysmic ravager – both on the inside and outside of our minds. Sonically and visually, I wanted to look at how Nature creates with her opposing forces, becoming the ultimate regenerator through her cycles of death and re-birth.”

Next she essentially poses the question to her fans, can we take this admirable characteristic of nature and apply it to our own lives? Explore these ideas and more in Native Invader. She’ll be kicking off the first leg of her European tour in Ireland, make her way through Paris and Germany, then finish off in the UK.
