Black Asteroid Shares Zola Jesus Featuring New Song “Howl”

Black Asteroid has recently released a music video for the song “Howl”, featuring Zola Jesus, who has released song called “Circles”.

The video starts out with a waterfall scenario and continues in a repetitive pattern between Zola and the scene. As the video continues, the viewer sees more color added to the waterfall and the artist moving. The video continues with different landscapes and the artist repetitively coming back and forth on the screen. The video can be watched below.

According to the press release, “Howl” is accompanied by a video directed by Sebastian Mlynarski, who says he wanted it “to be minimal and to feel like one vast landscape. I wanted the aerial footage of Iceland to mirror Zola’s face and to allow her gestures and motions to read topographically. I want the viewer to experience Zola as just another component of nature and not in any way a separate entity from it. We make up the landscape while alive and literally become one with it when we die.”
