WATCH: The Record Company Release New Video for “Baby I’m Broken”

Los Angeles roots rock power trio the Record Company has debuted a music video for their new song “Baby I’m Broken” today, via VEVO and other partners.

The Grammy award-nominated outfit consists of Chris Vos on guitar, lead vocals and harmonica, Alex Stiff on bass and Marc Cazorla on drums and piano. The band unleashed its debut album Give It Back to You on February 12, 2016, which immediately apparently struck a chord with a national audience. The album’s first single, “Off the Ground,” garnered extensive airplay, even achieving the coveted #1 AAA spot, where it remained for two consecutive weeks.

The Record Company’s popular success has been matched by enthusiastic and unanimous critical acclaim. “Caught halfway between the stomp of mid-century rock & roll and the soulful kick of Delta blues, the Record Company kick up a raw, rootsy racket,” raved Rolling Stone. Entertainment Weekly wrote, “The scuzzy, 10-track set meshes the group’s biggest influences-the early electric blues rock n’ roll of John Lee Hooker, staccato lyrical delivery akin to The Stooges frontman Iggy Pop, and Rolling Stones-style grooves.”

The Record Company has continued to promote the album throughout last year with various high profile television appearances including CBS’ Late Show with Stephen Colbert and TBS’ Conan, as well as a plethora of radio sessions and live concert broadcasts on various stations.

The Record Company will continue touring the United States throughout 2017 in continued support of the album, and just recently completed an arena tour supporting John Mayer, which included the band’s debut at Madison Square Garden.

In December, The Record Company was nominated for a Grammy Award in the category of Best Contemporary Blues Album for Give It Back to You, after spending an entire year on both the Billboard Top New Artist Heatseekers Chart and the Nielsen Alternative New Artist Chart.
