Royal Blood have confirmed the follow-up to their 2014 self-titled debut will be titled How Did We Get So Dark? and will be released on June 16 in a video uploaded to twitter. The video portrays a mural of what appears to be the album’s artwork as it features a pair of female figures sitting at a black table and is soundtracked by new music.

Singer Mike Kerr previously revealed the band worked out of a warehouse space in Burbank to create the new album.

“We”d party at night and write all day. By that point, we felt the record was coming together and there was a bit of a theme between the songs,” says the singer, who added that they wrote around 50 songs for the disc.

Royal Blood will be making their way through the U.S. festival circuit this summer with appearances at Governors Ball, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and Outside Lands.
