To follow up last month’s announcement of her new album Lust For Life and its May 26 release date, Lana Del Rey has just revealed the album’s cover art. The reveal surfaced through the artist’s Instagram today (April 10) and features the singer with flowers through her hair and a happily-content smile to match her music. The post can be seen below along with the original black and white trailer she used to first announce the album.
While Lust For Life‘s full tracklist has still yet to be released, Lana Del Rey talked with Jo Whiley’s BBC Radio 2 show, according to Pitchfork, about one of the album’s singles. The single is called “Love” and already has its own video on Vimeo, seen below. She closed her surprise performance at SXSW this year with the new track to a very fortunate crowd. She also discussed how she had been writing for the past 15 months and that she “started out thinking that the whole record was going to have sort of a, like, a ’50s, ’60s feeling, with some kind of Shangri-La, early Joan Baez influences.”
UPDATE (5/19): Lana Del Rey has posted a teaser video for Lust for Life today on Twitter, featuring a snippet of a song that offers Del Rey imploring a nameless person to “take of all of your clothes.” See it below:

The record was previously believed to be set for a late-May release date, but Pitchfork confirmed the new date via Lana Del Rey’s representative.
