Most of you probably remember the amazing rock performance at the Grammy’s by Metallica featuring Lady Gaga. Now aside from some technical issues, the performance went over very well and everyone loved the freshness that it brought to the single.The band’s Lars Ulrich express interest in future collaborations but guitarist James Hetfield has some other ideas, according to Loudwire.
In an interview with La Tercera, Hetfield discusses his thoughts. He says he just simply has no interest but that she is a lot like the band because she goes “beyond the limits” with “a different energy.” It seems the views vary among the band because Ulrich considers her like a nice 5th addition to the band. Ulrich also says that this was a very organic undertaking for the band and he looks forward to more in the future.
No matter what happens, the band will be keeping busy on their 2017 Worldwired tour. So plans to work with Gaga are in the far future, if ever at all.
