The Obsessed, who have announced a summer tour, has recently released a new music video for Sacred, which is also a title for their upcoming album that has been released through Relapse Records.
The video was directed by Jimmy Hubbard, and starts out with a dark light and a placing of a book, then immediately continues with the band playing. As the video continues, the ban plays and the book opens up and shows up a wolf type monster. Later on another person is introduce and the two end up together dancing. The video can be watched below.
According to BlabberMouth, Weinrich released a statement explaining the band’s return saying “All over the world I’ve listened to friends tell me, ‘We want you to bring back The Obsessed,’ so I have decided to resurrect The Obsessed.” He also added that he was “waiting for the right combination of ability, attitude and personality to accomplish this goal.”
