American pop singer Lauv is set to perform at Beat Kitchen May 31st. The stop is part of his late nights, deep talks tour.
The break out star began playing music at a young age. He took piano lessons and picked up the guitar in his early teen years. He went on to study music tech at New York University where he found time to create music in between classes, studying and socializing. He recorded his first songs while studying abroad in Prague. Some of his hits include “Come Back Home”, “Adrenaline” and the most popular, “The Other”, which has received over a million views on YouTube. His music gained a loyal following in the pop blog scene and he received Twitter shout outs from big stars like Chloe Grace Moretz and One Direction’s Liam Payne.

Fun Fact: Lauv is a chosen stage name based on his given name which is Ari Leff. Ari means lion in several languages. With his mother being Latvian, Leff knew that lion in her native language is lauve. And his astronomical sign is Leo!
