Psychedelic rock group Melody’s Echo Chamber has released a new gem to fans called “Cross My Heart,” and added a cherry on top with a new album announcement entitled Bon Voyage for a 2017 release. Today happens to be the singer’s birthday, and lucky for us Frontman Melody Prochet is celebrating with a new track! Prochet took to her official Instagram account to show fans the video was posted to YouTube, with the caption simply written as “Happy Birthday.” The song contains a steady tempo that remains uplifting throughout and has traces of unique sounds that comes in and out at seemingly perfect times. In less than a day, the song has already racked up more than 20,000 views. Click below to listen to the whole track.

The new single is the first track released from the upcoming album, which was written, performed, and produced by none other than Prochet herself. Other contributors included Fredrik Swahn, Reine Fiske, and Gustav Ejstes. Bon Voyage will be the first album since her self titled debut album in 2012, produced by Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker. However, that doesn’t mean the singer hasn’t been staying busy as Melody’s Echo Chamber has been playing gigs like at The Roxy and Pappy and Harriet’s, both sideshows for the Coachella Music Festival. In 2015, they also played at the El Rey Theater in Los Angeles and headlined the Fireworks festival in 2013 alongside Dan Deacon and We Were Evergreen.
