Mew has just released a video for their song “Twist Quest” to their Youtube page, found below.

The video was directed by Jonas Bjerre and is an absolute exploration of the imagination that suites the day-dream dynamic that the music brings. A kaleidoscope inspired dance party between what can only be described as a futuristic tribe of electronic bird worshiping indigenous people. Very color specific and just beautiful piece of interpretive dance that is a joy to watch.

The song comes from the new studio album titled Visuals, a full track listing and the album art can be found below. The forthcoming album is due on April 28 via Play It Again Sam (PIAS). In addition to the new LP there has been an accompanying tour announced. The tour is set to kick off in Bangkok, Thailand on May 7 at Voice Space and run the Danish group to through a number of European countries till its conclusion on September 20. The final show will host the band at the Akisuanerit Festival in Nuuk, Greenland. For a full list of tour dates, see below.

Ryan Fricke: Music is my therapy, which I could not function without. I am currently finishing my senior year a Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida with a Journalism major and a Creative Writing Minor. I first realized I wanted to become a Music Journalist the minute I learned that I could get paid to do the two things I love most, writing and listening to music. I have yet to decide which I am more infatuated with but for the time being I will happily house them to their stalemate. My plans after graduation are unclear but I hope to further gain experience in this profession.
