WATCH: At The Drive-In Release New Video for “Hostage Stamps”

At the Drive-In just released a new video for their latest single release “Hostage Stamps.” The single was originally released via BBC Radio 1 and followed their second release “Governed By Contagions.” The latter followed the band’s first release since the end of their 17 year break-up and both are heard without co-founder Jim Ward. The departed guitarist and co-vocalist Jim Ward was a huge staple to the American punk band since their establishment in 1993.

The new track is a musical charge of energy and raw emotion. The fast pumping adrenaline rush kicks in as soon you hear the ferocity of Keeley Davis and Omar Rodriguez’s guitar playing. The vocals of Cedric Bixler mash up heavily with the band’s over all ferocity.

Both tracks are part of the bands soon to be first release since 2000’s Relationship of Command. The new album is titled in•ter a•li•a and is due out on May 5. It will be released via Rise Records and was produced by Rodriguez and Rich Costey.

Ryan Fricke: Music is my therapy, which I could not function without. I am currently finishing my senior year a Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, Florida with a Journalism major and a Creative Writing Minor. I first realized I wanted to become a Music Journalist the minute I learned that I could get paid to do the two things I love most, writing and listening to music. I have yet to decide which I am more infatuated with but for the time being I will happily house them to their stalemate. My plans after graduation are unclear but I hope to further gain experience in this profession.
