An official call has been made to all metalheads from Max Cavalera, member of heavy metal band Soulfy, who announced an upcoming tour with his fellow band mates. This tour, however, will be especially unique because they will be performing Nailbomb’s 1994 LP Point Blank, an album from Cavalera’s earlier days. He posted a video announcement to Facebook, enthusiastically dubbing the album one of his favorite records “of all time.” Unfortunately, they have confirmed former Nailbomb member Alex Newport won’t be a part of the upcoming shows. Still, fans are in for a wild tour and should be on the lookout for upcoming dates. While official dates are yet to be released, fans can get juiced knowing the project is officially a go! Just last month Cavalera announced he’d be making an appearance on the upcoming Body Count album, alongside Dave Mustaine and Randy Blythe. In 2015, Cavalera opened up in an interview about his spiritual journey with Soulfy, and went into detail about his project with James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem.
Cavalera will also recently hit the road with his brother Igor Cavalera earlier this winter. You can click here to watch a video with the brothers performing with Faith No More’s Mike Patton in San Francisco.
