Sufjan Stevens Announces New Live Album Carrie & Lowell for April 2017 Release

Sufjan Stevens, who will be a part of release of Planetarium, has recently announced a new album Carrie & Lowell Live, which will be released on April 28th on Asthmatic Kitty.

According to Pitchfork, the album was recorded on November 9th, 2015 at the North Charleston Performing Arts Center in South Carolina during Steven’s tour to support Carrie & Lowell. On March 31st, the album celebrates its two year anniversary of the release. It also celebrates Lowell Bram’s birthday, who is the artist’s step-father and co founder of the Asthmatic Kitty label.

Carrie & Lowell Live was shot and produced by We Are Films, edited by Keith Bradshaw and mixed by Casey Foubert. The album will be released in audio and in video form through YouTube and Vimeo. There are 15 tracks within this album and an encore of a cover of Hotline Bling with Gallant. The tracklist and artwork are listed below.
