The annual rock festival has been around since 1997. Located in Naeba Japan, the festival takes the spot as the largest festival in Japan. Featuring around 200 acts from both Japan and other countries Fuji Rock attracts thousands of fans who come to see their favorite artists perform. The festival gets its name from the first event held in 1997 at the base of Mount Fuji. Since then festival officials have decided to take things in a different direction and have the festival located at Naeba Ski Resort.
