London’s 24th annual Meltdown Festival has released its first wave of artist for its 2017 lineup curated by London’s very own M.I.A. The lineup features Crystal Castles, Mykki Blanco, Young Fathers, Yung Lean, and more.
Set to go down from June 8- 18, M.I.A describes this years lineup as
“bringing together new outlaw musicians from everywhere, who have contributed to keeping things weird, exciting, opinionated, loud, emotional and brave or off the grid in the present climate”
Since 1993, Meltdown has featured some of the most iconic names in music with David Bowie, Morrissey, Patti Smith and Yoko Ono. Meltdown allows directors the opportunity to showcase their favorite musicians to play at Southbank Centre in London.
