Rodrigo Y Gabriela Announces Spring 2017 Tour Dates

Mexican acoustic duo Rodrigo Y Gabriela are gearing up to hit the road and head to the States this Spring for their upcoming tour. It will be the first time in two years the pair will be doing a nationwide US tour and will hit 13 cities within a span of about two and a half months. The first leg of the tour will open an the end of May in Seattle, WA and come to a close in Saratoga, CA in the beginning of August. Rodrigo Y Gabriela will be celebrating the 10 anniversary of their debut album release, a self titled album but dubbed by their fans as the “Crocodile album.” On May 5 right before the tour begins, the duo will be dropping a re-issue of the album that sold an overwhelming one million copies worldwide.

“We are busy at work on our new record, but looking back at this album, it’s good to be reminded of how far we’ve come in ten years,” Rodrigo said in an interview regarding the album. “We’re looking forward to playing those songs this summer.”

Last August, Rodrigo Y Gabriela were joined by several members of metal bands Megadeth and Metallica at the Hollywood Bowl Show.
