Nite Jewel Announces New Album Real High for May 2017 Release

Los Angeles musician, Nite Jewel, has announced the release of the follow-up album to last year’s Liquid Cool. This will be her fourth studio album and is titled: Real High. The new album is due to be released on May 5th through the artist’s own imprint Gloriette and includes cameos from Julia Holter, Dâm-Funk, and Droop-E.

In addition to releasing the title of the new album the lead single’s music video, 2 Good 2 Be True, was also shared. Directed by fellow Angelino Geneva Jacuzzi the show’s Nite Jewel participating in a ritualistic scene with a masked and hooded figure on the beach. Jacuzzi has said of making the music video:

“Those dance sequences were a blast to film,” said director Jacuzzi in a press release. “Ramona, dancing her ASS OFF for hours.. Christina [Acevedo] on camera, cracking up… and me, jumping and flailing around the room shouting out inspirations like… ‘Now we’re at the Prince Party!.. Erotic City! Dance Dance!!'”
