WATCH: Iggy Pop, New Order, Patti Smith, Alabama Shakes and More Perform at Tibet House Benefit

From time to time artists gather to use their talent for a good cause. It is not as easy as it usually is to see who is the true winner out of all this when when gather together on stage. In one case you can say the fans, in another you can say those who benefitting from the good deed that is being done by the artists. In this case, according to CONSEQUENCE OF SOUND at the Tibet House Benefit a number of beloved artists gathered to perform at the 30th annual benefit.

During this years benefit, Philip Glass celebrated his 80th birthday interesting enough Glass also performed at the benefit. Those performing at the benefit included Iggy Pop, Patti Smith, Alabama Shakes, and New order. Glass accompanied the Grammy award winning Alabama Shakes performing “Sound and Color”. Patti Smith performed a cover of a Bob Dylan record and later on invited everyone back on stage to perform “People Have the Power”.

In the upcoming festival season fans can look forward to seeing Iggy Pop perform at the Boogalo Festival. Alabama Shakes can be seen performing during Inaugural Arroyo Seco weekend along with many others.
