When it comes to fans of the group Suicide, the more good news they hear about the group the better. That is what is happening today. Martin Rev, of Suicide fame, has announced the titled and release date of his new album titled Demolition 9, which will be out on May 9th 2017 via the record label Atlas Réalisations reported by BROOKLYNVEGAN.
Perhaps a a lot of music in comparison to what is being released today, the new release is set to feature a whopping 34 songs that Martin Rev describes as an “autobiographical yearning for joy and the unattainable perfection of the artistic ideal.” When it comes to the amount of songs that will be featured on the album, fans of the group are excited to receive anything from Rev as this is his first project since 2009’s Stigmata. For potential new fans this may act as a deterrent due to the short attention span that listeners tend to have. But, Rev releasing his first project in 1980 is not concerned with the troubles of releasing music in this generation.
