The headliner for SXSW’s annual Outdoor Stage at Ladybird Lake has been announced, and it’s hard to imagine a bigger name. None other than country music legend Garth Brooks will top a bill that features rising Americana stars like Holly Macve, Nicole Atkins and Summer Sweeney. Garth is scheduled to go on at 8 PM CST at the festival’s largest stage. The performance will take place on Saturday, March 18 at 800 W. Riverside in Austin, TX.
Starting at 12 pm (CST) complimentary general admission tickets can be obtained, but those tickets are reserved for residents of Austin and the surrounding area. If you are a registrant with SXSW or a wristband holder, you can also attend via a “special allocation of space” – if you have a wristaband or badge you do not need a ticket.
