Ed Sheeran @ Oracle Arena 8/2

British popstar Ed Sheeran is bringing his talent to to the Bay in a big way by playing to an arena full of fans this summer. He will be performing at the Oracle Arena on August 8th. Sheeran will be performing all around North America and will be playing one more Bay date in Sacramento on August 1st.

Sheeran made a splash over here in North America with his 2011 hit The A-Team and has been blowing up ever since. He’s known not only for his great music, but also for his various and compelling celebrity friendships and for his notable work as a writer of many of One Direction’s songs. Sheeran debut album 2011’s x, introduced his music to North America and Europe. Hits from that album include the aforementioned The A-Team, Give Me Love, and Lego House. After that, he has steadily dropped two other albums 2014’s X, which gave us the hits Don’t, Thinking Out Loud, and Photograph. Lastly, his most recent release 2017’s ÷, which produced the songs Castle on the Hill, Shape of You, New Man, Galway Girl, and Perfect. It’s currently dominating the airwaves, Spotify, and any other music medium. Not only has Sheeran been dominating with every album he puts out, but he’s also featured on other hits like The Weeknd’s Dark Times, Tori Kelly’s I Was Made For Loving You, and Taylor Swift’s Everything Has Changed. His sound is a fun mix of folk/acoustic pop with a little bit of classic rock; his songs are introspective but also fun. Sheeran keeps on producing hits and we can’t seem to get enough of them.

Fans of The Script, Sam Smith, and Olly Murs will be down for this show. Come listen to the guy who has been blowing up your radio and Spotify playlists. Sheeran’s music is, well, full of sheer talent. Hit click on some tickets, this is gonna be a show you’ll wanna splurge on!
