White Denim Song Only Appears On Spotify When It Is Raining

Some songs are truly only meant for certain occasions, and White Denim’s song “No Nee Ta Slode Aln,” takes that concept to a whole new level. The Texas based rock band teamed up with North Face, a high quality snow/cold weather apparel brand, in an effort to promote their new jacket the Apex Flex GTX. While it may seem impossible, White Demin made their new song only available on Spotify for streaming when it’s raining in your area. Don’t try and sprinkle tap water across the screen in an attempt to fool Spotify, as the app will use geotargeting technology and will not allow anybody to search up the song unless there’s rainfall in your location.

White Denim recently released a new album entitled Stiff and performed at UTOPiAfest and the 312 Urban Block Party with Against Me! 2017 is also looking out to be an active year, since earlier in February, the band performed at the Brooklyn Bowl and are featured on the lineup for SXSW Music Festival in Austin, TX this year alongside Langhorne Slim and Peanut Butter Wolf.
