For a while there, Frank Ocean was becoming a meme about how long people had to wait for things they loved, but that is not more. Back in 2016, Ocean released two albums Endless and Blonde after years of hemming and hawing. After just a few months, he is at it again with a brand new single. According to Pitchfork, Ocean just released his new single “Chanel.”
Ocean had humble beginnings in New Orleans and that city is where he got his start in the music business. When Hurricane Katrina hit, he made a “temporary” transfer to L.A. to work more on his music. After meeting so many influencers and rappers he would go on to make amazing music with, he decided that this was where he wanted to stay.
