Metal icons Metallica and rock legend Iggy Pop performed The Stooges’ classic hit “TV eye” on Sunday as they start to bring their tour to a close. Metallica brought out Iggy Pop on stage at the Foro Sol Arena in Mexico City and lucky for us fans got the whole encounter on stage so at least we can live vicariously through the audience members for five minutes. Click below to see the captured footage of the concert and watch the crowd go wild when Iggy Pop is introduced on stage.
Last month the band put on quite the performance at the Grammy Awards Ceremony alongside pop singer Lady Gaga, now is set to headline the Rose Bowl later this year on July 29. You will also be able to catch the metal masterminds on their Worldwired Summer 2017 tour with supporting acts Avenged Sevenfold and Volbeat. Metallica will be hitting cities all over the world including Toronto, San Diego, and Denmark and will no doubt be performing tracks from their new album Hard Wired…To Self Destruct.
The band has been busy recently dropping a ton of music videos to fans, releasing a total of ten in two days back in November. You can click here to watch the new music video for “Dream No More” and here for live footage of the band playing “Metal Militia” at Fonda.
