Fans of the death core genre have a reason to get excited as death core group, Suicide Silence, has released a video for their new song titled “Dying In A Red Room” this reported by BLABBERMOUTH. The song can be found on their brand new self titled album, which is available to today. Many artist choose to work with someone when making their album in order to achieve a cohesive sound. Suicide Silence’s new album was produced by Ross Robinson, who himself has had a storied working with the likes of Korn, Slipknot, Limp Bizkit, and Sepultra. The sound mixing is being handled by Joe Baressi who has worked with Kyuss, Melvins, Tool, and Queens of the Stone age
Suicide Silence vocalist, Hernan “Eddie” Hermida, had this to say, “The way ‘Dying In A Red Room‘ came about was simply being on tour in the back lounge one crazy night and that riff was spewed out and stuck. We started jamming it and that song was done quick and natural. We wanted that song to be very fluid.”
He continued, “The song is meant to be a love song to the ghosts we carry around with us. To never be afraid to be yourself or listen to your heart. In a way, that is always what this band has wanted to represent. Fearlessness.”
Many artists, at some point make an attempt to step outside their comfort zone and try something new. Suicide Silence tried out a new style on their new song “Doris” which featured a newer melodic, clean singing style.
Towards the end of last year revealed the track listing to their new album as well as revealing new details about their new album release.
