The lineup for the fifth iteration of the Solid Sound Festival, Wilco’s annual music festival located in North Adams, Massachusetts, has been announced.
Wilco, the festival’s host, will perform two headlining sets along with notable artists such as Television, Kurt Vile and the Violators, Robert Glasper Experiment and several others slated to make an appearance. One interesting note is the reunion of late-60’s punk group, The Shaggs, for the small Massachusetts festival.
In addition, nearly every Wilco side-project will make some sort of appearance over the weekend, including Tweedy, The Autumn Defense, On Fillmore, The Nels Cline Four and Quindar.
Holding down the comedy stage will be former Daily Show correspondent John Hodgman.
In addition to their own festival, Wilco is scheduled to make an appearance at several festivals this year as well as their own winter tour. Fellow headliner Kurt Vile will also be making an appearance this year at the Project Pabst festival along with Phantogram and Ice Cube.
